Whynot, Stanley Stephen, 66, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away on Monday, August 19th, 2013, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Beatrice (Slauenwhite) and Clarence Whynot.
He worked many years at Mersey Seafood and for Chris & James Tree Removal. Stanley could often be found socializing in front of the Liverpool Post Office. He enjoyed playing Kingo and drinking McDonald’s coffee.
He is survived by daughters Diane (Richard) Warner, of Liverpool, Teresa Whynot (Cory Moulton), of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Amanda Whynot, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Teresa Burns (Wendell Whynot), of Milton; son David (Teresa Smith), of Liverpool; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sister Sandra (Arnold) Johnson, of Coldbrook; brothers Norman (Hazel), of Milton, Paul (Shirley), of Liverpool, Carl (Janet), of Bridgewater; sisters-in-law Jessie and Betty, both of Milton; longtime friend Rhoda Thorburne; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant granddaughter Diane; sisters Carrie Oickle, Maria White; brothers James “Bruddy”, Lawrence, John and Donald in infancy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside service to celebrate Stanley’s Life will be held on Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., from Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool.
