Whynot, Rosaline Marie, age 89, of Danesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4th, 2016, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Walden, she was a daughter of the late Silas and Elnora (Dorey) Crossland.
Rosaline was very handy and was ready and willing to try almost any task. She enjoyed gardening, knitting crocheting, puzzles, baking cookies and she also had a special talent in letter writing. Above all else, Rosaline was most passionate about her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by daughter, Irene (Sam) Llewellyn, of Middlewood; sons Gerald (Linda), of Hebbs Cross, Miles (Brenda), of Middlewood, Allen (Kimberlee), of Danesville; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; daughter in law, Maxine, of Danesville; son in law, Carl Nowe, of Danesville; sister, Elva Ernst, of Pine Grove.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Carl; daughter, Gloria Nowe; son, Wilson; sisters, Grace Young, Annis Tanner; brothers, Enos, Fred; half sisters, Mary, Hannah, Alice, Hazel, Minnie; half brothers, Charles, Demus, Stanley, Hiram, Simeon, Spurgeon, Silas, Arthur.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7th, 2016, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., from the Danesville United Church. Reverend Vivian Moores officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Danesville.
