WHYNOT – Patsy Ann Elizabeth, 73, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on October 31, 2022.
Born in Liverpool, Patsy was daughter of the late Reginald and Marion (Wagner) Whynot.
Mom loved her sweet companion Puppy. She was forever saying I love you puppy. He was her everything.
Mom loved to bowl and was on the Woman Bowling League for many years. She was also a member of the Queen’s County Ground Search and Rescue. In her spare time she would tell Dad she was going to town and would head to the Bowling Alley to do a little gambling on the VLT’s. She called it her time. She enjoyed playing bingo even though most of the time she never won and if she did win she wouldn’t tell Dad because he would always want half. During the summer mom looked forward to the yard sales. That woman was always looking for a bargain and trust me she always had a car load by the time she got home. In the winter she was excited as the Flea Markets started up at the Fire Hall. She would always take a few things to sell but always came home with more than what she went with.
Most of all she loved seeing everyone so she could have a good old chit chat and catch up with the ones she hadn’t seen in a long while. Most of all mom loved the family gatherings. It was the time that everyone came to her house to have some great food. Her best time was at Christmas she loved it so much just to have all the family around but I still think it was for the gifts. She was such a kid at heart. Her kids and grandchildren were her everything. As long as she had them around nothing else mattered.
Patsy is survived b y her daughter Penny of Liverpool, her sons Stephen (Terilee) of Brooklyn, Tony (Harry) of White Point, Jeff (Eric) of Brooklyn and Brian (Sandi) of St. John, NB. Her sisters Margaret (Carlton) Manthorne of Mill Village and Sharon Westlake of Western Head. Her brothers St. Claire (Janet) of Liverpool and Stephen (Doreen) of Brooklyn.
