Margaret Rose Whynot

Whynot, Margaret Rose, age 64, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Theressa (Mansfield) Mansfield.

Margaret was well known for her baking ability. It didn’t matter what it was, but she could make it and there was always plenty made for sharing and it was always delicious. She also enjoyed coloring, sewing, gardening and was always up for a good conversation on the phone. Margaret was as big as life and she had a great sense of humor, sometimes with out a filter. Above all else, she was most passionate about her family and spending time with them especially her beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Whynot (Tyson Foster) of Riversdale; grandchildren, Isabelle and Isaac; sisters, Darlene (Robert) Wright of Saskatchewan, Ruth Ramey of Timberlea and Barbara (David) Uhlman of New Elm; brothers, Gary (Florence) of Caledonia, Scott (Patty), Reid, Edward all of Westfield, Dennis (Joan) of Lake Echo and Steve of Caledonia; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers, Henry, Howard, Herbert and Lloyd.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 18th, at 11:00 a.m., from Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield. Pastor Royce Getson officiating. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the North Queens Volunteer Fire Department. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.chandlersfuneral.com
