Heather Barbara Mae Whynot

WHYNOT – Heather Barbara Mae, 56, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool after a long and lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Liverpool, Heather was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Louise (Lloyd) Burgess.
Heather worked in the cafeteria of Liverpool Regional High School for eight years and did book keeping for several local companies. She enjoyed camping and gardening as well as baking for family and friends. Heather will be remembered by her family and close friends as a loving wife and mother with a very determined spirit and devoted to whatever she put her mind to.
Heather is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Stephen; her children Nathan (Renee Robarts) of Maitland and Kelsey (Evan) Whynot of Sheffield Mills. Her siblings; Chris (Kathy) of Mill Village, Lynn (Peter) Foster of Brooklyn, Jacquie Burgess of Pleasantville, Stephanie (Michael) Robar of Cambridge, her “fur baby” Sadie and her grand “fur babies” Remi and Lucy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Heather’s request, there will a private family graveside service at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
