Mary Elizabeth Weare

Weare – Mary Elizabeth, 74, of Caledonia, Queens Co., passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Veteran’s Unit, Fisherman Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, NS.
Born in Caledonia, Mary was a daughter of Avis (Canning) and the late Theodore Weare.
Mary worked as a C.C.A. for over 25 years, working in Annapolis Nursing Home, New Germany Nursing Home and North Queens Nursing Home. Mary was an avid animal lover and especially loved horses and birds.
Mary was survived by her loving husband of 57 years Delbert; daughter Bonnie Weare-Fancy of Bridgewater; sons Rodney of Caledonia and Frederick (Wendy Smith) of Yarmouth; grandchildren Leiander and Abigail Weare, Grayson and Rebecca Fancy; sisters Anna Mansfield of Caledonia, Eva Weare of Westfield and Cheryl ( Benson) Frail of Caledonia; brothers Alva (Louise) of Westfield, Ward of West Clifford and Floyd of New Germany. Mary was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, Mary was predeceased by her sisters Yvonne Mansfield-Cunningham and infant sister Paulette, brothers Maynard, Roger and infant brother Terry.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. where visitation will be held Friday July 10, 2020 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. A public graveside service will be Saturday July 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Harmony Cemetery, Harmony. Family flowers only, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
