Denton Edward Waterman

WATERMAN – Denton E., 69 of Whiteburne, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
Born in Caledonia, Denton was a son of the late Thurlow and Amy (Fancy) Waterman.
Denton worked for Freeman’s Lumber for a number of years as well as other various sawmills throughout Queens County. He enjoyed canoeing, fishing, hunting and helping others when there was a need. He will be remembered for is quiet demeanor.
Denton is survived b y his companion of 38 years Linda Huss; his step children Colleen Shannon, Ken Shannon, Carl Shannon, Darcy Shannon, Arlo Huss and Eli Huss as well as six step grandchildren. His sisters Sandra White of Maitland Bridge and Lynn (Felix) Deveau of Metegan Station. His brothers Peter (Margaret) and Brian (Liz) both of Caledonia; Jimmy (Dale) and Chris (Jan), both of Hibernia,
Besides his parents, Denton was predeceased by an infant son and his sister Rosaline Weare.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Highland Cemetery, Caledonia.
