Nancy Jane Wamboldt

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our lovely mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Nancy Jane Wamboldt, 85, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023 at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Liverpool, Nancy was the daughter of the late Dan and Daisy (Whynot) Whynot.
Nancy took great care of all of her family. Nancy started a family tradition of Sunday dinners which lasted for decades, she would start at 5am prepping the large meal for her family. She also looked forward to the family gatherings at 10 Mile Lake for a day of food and fun.
Nancy was very giving and generous, supporting many charities and organizations.
She looked forward to drives on the weekends with her husband Russell, as they stopped at
yard sales along the way, usually taking a grandchild with them. They especially loved day trips
to the Valley.
Nancy loved to dance and enjoyed attending the community dances with her friends. She
enjoyed shopping, playing cards and going for coffee with her friends and family. Her family was everything to her, you could always depend on her for anything you needed.
