David Allen Wamboldt

Wamboldt, David Allen, 65, of Milton, Queens County, passed away on Wednesday, September 4th, 2013, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Paul and Pauline (Carver) Wamboldt.

David worked for Nova Scotia Power for many years before going to work for RBN Fisheries where he worked up until retiring in the spring. He was a proud member of Ground Search and Rescue, Liverpool, for over 25 years. David was an avid mechanic who was well known for his work on hotrods and muscle cars. He also enjoyed being social with his family and many friends, working on leather and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife Dianne; son Adam (Erin), of Port Medway; sister in  law Betty Lou; nephews Christopher, Derek, all of Summerside, P.E.I.; aunts Althea Rowter, of Pleasntfield, Marguerite Holdright, of Kempt.

He was predeceased by a brother Douglas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2013, from 7-9 p.m., a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception, all from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Father Keith Billard officiating. Burial will be in St. Gregory’s Catholic Cemetery, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Queens County Ground Search and Rescue, Liverpool.
