Waltherr, Ralph Andrew, 91, of Liverpool, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24th, 2014, at Queens Manor, Liverpool.
Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Schon) Waltherr.
Ralph enjoyed many things growing up like swimming and skating. He really enjoyed playing hockey and has kept this love of the game in his heart to this day. He enjoyed going to dances, various variety shows, playing cards, walking and listening to music. Ralph was a veteran of WWII. He worked at the Bowater Mersey Paper Company for over 30 years retiring in 1984.
He is survived by daughters, Tina (Carl) Strowbridge, of Upper LaHave, Wanda (Marty) Raymond, of Liverpool; sons, Clarence, of Milton, Joe (Wendy), of Bolton, Ontario; grandchildren Neil, Beth, Hollie, Kyla; great-grandchildren, Merrick, Jordy, Brogan, Nash.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn; sister Elsie in infancy, Magdalene “Maddie”; brothers, Joseph, Clarence, Charles, Norbert; stepmother Elvina.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside Memorial Service will be held in the Milton Community Cemetery at a later date. No flowers by request.
