Thalia Ann Neals

Neals, Thalia Ann of Liverpool, Queens County, was called home at the age of 84 on July 14, 2024.

 Born in Middlefield, she was the only child of the late Vincent and Mildred (Kempton) Dowell.

 Thalia worked in the nursing profession for over 50 years, working in the U.S. and Canada. She ended her career at the maternity ward at Queens General Hospital, where she went into home nursing care until her retirement at the age of 75.

 She was a devout Christian and enjoyed watching Christian programs. Thalia also enjoyed spending time with her family and going out to eat. She was a very caring, honest and giving person.

 For the last year and a half, she lived at Queens manor where she thoroughly enjoyed being involved in activities with staff and friends such as church, BINGO, and music.

 Thalia is survived by her daughters, Jackie Roberts and Valerie Hynick, both of Bridgewater and her son Johnathan (Laurie) of Wetaskiwin, AB. Her grandchildren: Michael (Casandra), Anna (Andrew), Lorna (Timothy), Morgan, and Abagail. Her great-grandchildren: Paisley, Olivia, Ethan, Callie, Lauren, Maddox, Devilyn, Athena, Xander, Ozzy, and Brooks.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool NS. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Middlefield-Pleasantfield Community Cemetery. We ask that there be no flowers, but donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made below
