Patricia Ann “Patsy” Tarr

TARR – Patricia A. “Patsy”, 68, of Western Head, Queens County, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, December 9, 2022.
Born in Liverpool, Patsy was a daughter of the late John T. and Sylvia (Gardner) Whalen.
Patsy was a former employee with Bluewave Fisheries and Mersey Seafoods as well as working in the kitchen at Lane’s Privateer Inn. She was an avid bingo player and card player and enjoyed playing scratch tickets with her best friend Jennie Jarvis. She always had time to talk to everyone she knew and met. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wm. Charles, her son Troy (Shannon) of Liverpool. Her grandchildren Kayla and Jesse. Her sisters Deborah Whalen (Brian Dagley) of Liverpool, Pamela Whalen (Junior Oickle) of Milton, Valerie Wamboldt of White Point. Her brothers David (Angela Morris) of Caledonia and Darren (Kimberley) of Liverpool.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home Liverpool, NS. At Patsy’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers, donations may be made to S.H.A.I.D. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
