Sylvia Elaine Wheadon

Wheadon - Sylvia E. of Port Medway, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

           Born in Port Medway, Sylvia was a daughter of the late Russell and Greta (Whynot) Harnish.

           Sylvia is survived by her daughter Patricia (Ricky) Nauss of Mill Village, sons Kenneth Ross (Darlene Wulf) of Prince Rupert, BC. and David of Anzac, AB. Her grandchildren Rickey (Julie) Nauss of Brooklyn, Rebecca Wheadon, Joey Wheadon, Jacob (Hannah) Wheadon and Benjamin Thompson. Great grandchildren Dylan and Ryan Nauss and Kade Wheadon. Her sister Bessie Harnish and brother James Harnish both of Port Medway.

 Besides her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Harry Ross Wheadon, Granddaughter Lindsey Paige Wheadon, brothers Gerald, Ronald and Reginald “Bubby” Harnish.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made below.
