Sylvia Elizabeth Fancy

FANCY - Sylvia Elizabeth, 71, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away suddenly at home, Monday, September 30, 2024.

 Born in Caledonia, Sylvia was a daughter of the late Leroy and Ruby (Frail) Mansfield.

 Sylvia worked for North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia as a caregiver.

 Sylvia is survived by her husband Bruce; daughter Linda of Grand Falls, N.B; sons Leroy of Toronto, ON; Peter (Pam) of Baker’s Settlement, N.S. Three grandchildren. Sisters: Margaret Kelly of Blockhouse, N.S. and Carolyn (Richard) Shupe of Fredericton, N.B; brothers Douglas (Mary) and Roger (Donna) both of Antigonish, Robert (Doreen) and Franklyn both of Harmony Mills, Neal of Westfield, Raymond (Annie) and Ronald both of Liverpool and Edward of Alberta.

 Besides her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by infant son Chad, sisters June Whynot, Shirley Keans, Sally Corkum, Betty Whalen, Joan Brewster and Sharon Feener; brothers Jerry Michael, John, Donald, Leroy Jr., Mitchell and infant brother Terry.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of choice. To share condolences may be made below.
