Sydney Earl Whynot

Whynot - Sydney E., 62, of Milton, Queens County, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at home on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

 Born in Liverpool, Syd was a son of the late Sydney “Buster” and Maxine ( Oickle) Whynot.

 Syd will be best remembered by family and friends as a “wood carving , weed smoking kind of guy”.

 Syd is survived by his daughter Bonnie Balcom (Charlie Doubleday) of Milton; his grandchildren Makenzie Doubleday, Keelie Balcom-Doubleday, Tenesha Foster (Wayne Tanner). His great grandchildren Eli and Bailey Tanner. His sister Darlene (George ) Hatt of Port LaTour and his brother Mark (Louise) of Molega.

 Besides his parents, Syd was predeceased by his common law companion Mary Balcom, his sisters Doreen Smith and Marjorie Whynot and his brother Stephen “Beaver” Whynot.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Syd’s request, there will be no funeral service. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made below.
