Douglas Allen Sperry

Sperry – Douglas Allen, 68, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away on Monday, September 4th, 2017, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, V.G. Site, Halifax.

Born in West Dublin, he was a son of the late Lorraine and Elizabeth (Oickle) Sperry.

Above all else, Doug was most passionate about his family and spending time with them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and morning trips to Tim Horton’s.

He is survived by his loving wife, Robin; daughter, Stephanie Zwicker (Syd Whynot), of Liverpool; sons, Allen (Dawn), of Brooklyn, Michael (Brenda), of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Allen Jr., Steven, Jeffrey, Tyson, Morgan, Dakota; sisters, Donna (Richard) Bollivar, of Liverpool, Helen (Lex) Legge, of Bridgewater; brothers, Robert (Michelle), of Windsor, Harold (Jane), of Liverpool, Jason (Tracey), of Halifax.

He was predeceased by brothers, Vernon and Richard.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. The family will receive friends from 2:00 til 4:00 p.m., on Friday, September 8th, 2017, from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool.
