Harry R. Smyth, of Lincolnshire, England passed away suddenly 25 December, 2016 from a heart attack.
He was predeceased by his birth parents, Florence and William Crocker, Weymouth Dorset and by his adoptive parents, Sylvia and Percy Smyth. He was predeceased by his birth sister, Patricia Crocker and by his three adoptive brothers, Terry, Tony and Trevor Smyth.
He is survived by sister, Daphne Ackermann, Port Mouton, Nova Scotia, Canada and sister Margaret Phillips, Sussex, England. There are many surviving nieces, nephews and cousins in England, Canada, Japan and New Zealand.
Funeral service and cremation took place in England, but Harry’s remains will be interred, as he wished, next to his sister, “Paddy”, in the Ackermann lot in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Port Mouton. This will be a private ceremony conducted by Rev. Judy Cross. There will be a reception from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 26th June, 2017 at Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Union Street, Liverpool. All are welcome, whether you had met Harry or not. No flowers or donations.
As Harry loved all animals, please be kind to animals, pets, working and wild.
