Rosalie Elaine Smith

Smith, Rosalie Elaine, 81, of Liverpool, formerly of Milton, passed away Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 in Queens Manor, Liverpool.

Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Wamboldt) Whynot.

Rosalie’s pride and joy was her family and she loved to spend as much time as possible with them. Over the years she worked as a housekeeper for a number of people. Rosalie enjoyed playing cards, bingo and being a part of the Liverpool Seniors group at the Liverpool Lions Hall.

She is survived by daughters Beverly (Paul) Conrad, of Vogler’s Cove, Betty Ann (Ronald) Daury, of Milton, Diane (Glen) Dexter, of Brooklyn, Victoria (Greg) Whynot, of Mersey Point; sons David Whynot, Robert Smith, Thomas Smith, all of Milton; sisters Theresa (Alfred) Brewster, of Brooklyn, Alberta Hyson, of Middlefield, Judy (Roger) Williams, of Allendale; brothers Charles, Eugene (Carolyn), Sydney (Lorna), Jerry, all of Milton; grandchildren Tracy Daniels, Craig (Melanie) Conrad, Jodi (Stanley) Tanner, Nicole Daury (Paul Hallett), Holly Daury (Jamie Nowe), Jennifer Dexter (Nick Skinner), Adam Dexter, Devin Whynot (Melissa Gardner), Nicholas Whynot; great grandchildren Kaelee, Kelcie, Brittany, Shelby, Colby, Stephanie, Katelyn, Nathan, Joshua.

She was predeceased by her husband Reginald; sisters Virginia Miller, Christina Whynot, Diane Daury, two infant twin sisters; brother Lawrence and an infant brother.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 17th, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., from the Milton Community Cemetery.
