SMITH – Carleton L., 61, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Friday, February 10, 2023.
Born in Liverpool, Carleton was a son of Rosemary (Buchanan) (Smith) Mosher of Liverpool and the late Alfred Smith.
Carleton worked for the former Liverpool IGA Grocery Store before moving on to work as a foundry operator at the former Steel and Engine Products Limited (STENPRO). He then went to work for Mersey Seafoods where he continued to work the foundry as well as do maintenance and ship repainting. Carleton enjoyed hunting and fishing and going for trips through the woods with his brother Alton. He also enjoyed walking the trails with his daughter Amanda, playing ball with her, his grandchildren and nieces and nephew, biking and camping trips to Kedji. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren.
Carleton is survived by his daughter Amanda (Gary Whynot) of Danesville, His grandchildren Abby Brewer and Alexis Whynot; his sister Donna (Donnie) Fralic of Beach Meadows and his brother Alton of Liverpool. His nieces Hayleigh Smith and Cassie Fralic and his nephew Brandon (Amber) Fralic. His companion Eleanor Legge and her children Michael and Cody.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will be in Oceanside Cemetery, Hunts Point at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
