Sharon Louise Sauliner, 76, of Liverpool, brought boundless love and light to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the cherished granddaughter of Herbert and Onita Trimm and beloved daughter of Patricia Pentz. From the start, Sharon stood out in the world—her heart overflowed with generosity, and her life was spent serving others with grace and kindness.
Sharon and her soulmate Roy shared more than 50 incredible years, fostering and nurturing children with unwavering love. Their home was a haven, filled with laughter, warmth, and compassion, touching the lives of countless children. Together, they built a legacy that exemplified the true meaning of family—rooted in love, resilience, and generosity.
Sharon was extraordinarily gifted, with an artist’s touch and an innate skill for creation. Whether sewing Halloween costumes for all her children, crafting intricate prom dresses, or piecing together quilts for the Food Bank and homeless shelters, her handiwork was always infused with care and pride. Her creativity extended to tole painting, crafting, and enjoying scrapbooking weekends with friends. Sharon also cherished traveling on exciting shopping trips to the United States, which were always an adventure. These journeys often ended with a car filled to the brim with Christmas gifts for all her children and extended family.
Sharon had a gift for treasure hunting at Frenchy’s—she could always find the perfect hidden gem. She was the go-to person when someone needed something, always ready to help. Whether it was tracking down coats, mittens, and hats for kids at the elementary school or making sure no one went without the basics, Sharon’s kindness was at the heart of everything she did.
No challenge ever held Sharon back, even with a house full of children—sometimes as many as ten. Sharon often said, "It’s easier to have more children than less," and she poured her soul into ensuring that no one went without. Her cupboards were always filled for families in need, and her Christmas gifts and stockings brought magic to countless homes. Sharon’s giving spirit and boundless empathy taught her children the profound value of love and selflessness, lessons that will ripple through generations.
It was an unforgettable moment—Sharon spotted Roy cruising past in his Mustang, the top down, and she couldn’t resist. With a mischievous giggle and a radiant smile, she said, “He’s mine.” Roy truly was Sharon’s greatest treasure. Their love story spanned more than 60 years, beginning with a fateful dance saved just for him when he was just 16. Their journey together was one for the movies, built on devotion and unshakable faith in each other.
Today, Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished. Her devoted husband Roy, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched will carry her memory in their hearts. Sharon’s enduring spirit reminds us to embrace life fully, love endlessly, and always find joy in giving.
