Edith Cavel Seamone

SEAMONE – Edith Cavel,  it is with deep sorrow the family of the late Edith Cavel Seamone, 97, of Bangs Falls, Queens County announce her passing on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia, NS.

Born in Liverpool, February 20th, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Sarah (Roy) Farmer.

Edith enjoyed spending time with her many family and friends. She loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, gardening, camping and entertaining at her trailer on Tupper Lake. She was well known in her community and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed. Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by her only son Donald Peach  of Bangs Falls; Her grandchildren Ronald (Mary) Peach, Barry (Dorothy) Peach, Douglas (Nanette) Peach, Kevin (Betty) Peach, Stephen Peach, Wendy (Randy) SanPietro and Tammy Peach (Rene). 14 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband Harry Edward Peach, her second husband Wallace Frank Seamone, an infant son Lawrence, her sisters Sadie, Florence, Winnifred, Ada, Mary and Roxena. Her brothers Alfred, George, Herbert, Mark, Lloyd, Duncan and Victor.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Zion United Cemetery, Payzant Street, Liverpool. Reverend Wade Harvey officiating.
