SCOTT – Clara Jane – 73 formerly of Summerville Centre, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Monday April 24, 2023.
Born in Liverpool, Clara was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lorraine (Wagner) Hupman.
Clara worked as a secretary at the Halifax Dockyards and for Zion United Church, Liverpool. She enjoyed walks on the beach, sewing, cooking and baking, but above all, spending time with her family.
Clara is survived by her sons William (Chris Pitre) of Moncton, N.B; Andrew of Surrey, B.C; two grandchildren; brother Cecil (Bill Ryder) of Summerville Centre.
Besides her parents, Clara is predeceased by her sister Cathy Anthony.
Cremation has taken place under direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Thursday April 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Peaceful Hill Cemetery, Port Mouton. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society Of Canada or the SPCA.
