Bernard William Schennery

SCHENNERY, Bernard W., 73, of Liverpool, Queens County passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Sunday, April 7th, 2013.

Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late George and Ethel (Purcell) Schennery.

Bernie was a Metro Transit bus driver and a former Yellow Cab taxi driver. He also worked for Mitchell Furriers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

He is survived by his wife Tammy (Bent), daughters Vicki (Lewis) Conrad of Eagle Head, Patricia (Larry) Corbin of Hammonds Plains, Christina (Austin) Young of DeGraw, NFLB., stepson Douglas of Charleston, six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Sister Marilyn Bevis of Dartmouth.

He was predeceased by a daughter Laura Schennery and a brother Darrell.
