Roy – Jody Kyle, 48 of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 23, 2018, at home, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Liverpool, Queens County, he was a son of Cyril James “Jim” and Barbara (Veinot) Roy, of Liverpool.
He was employed as a commissionaire at the Bowater Mersey Site. Jody was a “jack of all trades” and master of many. He was a great wood carver, carpenter, craftsman, painter and electrician. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do once he put his mind to it. Jody was also very talented musically, being able to sing and play many instruments including the guitar, banjo, mandolin, mouth organ and fiddle. His passion was the outdoors where he loved fishing, hunting, camping, exploring the woods and kayaking with his best friend/brother, Barry and walking on the beach with his loving wife, Sarka and their two furry kids, Morgan and Cloe. Jody was a seasoned traveller and visited many different locations throughout the world. He will be sadly missed by his family and close friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sarka (Pachova); sister, Patricia (Ernie) Doucette, of Liverpool; brothers Barry (Connie), of Petite Riviere, Stephen, of Liverpool; nieces, Amanda, Kristy; nephews, Daniel, Michael, Kyle, Evan; and his faithful companion, Morgan.
