Robert Daniel Forrest Legge

 LEGGE - Robert Daniel Forrest, 90, of Milton, Queens County N.S., passed away peacefully in the QEII Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, N.S. on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

 Born in Liverpool, he was the son of the late Robert and Isabelle (Winters) Legge.

 Robert had quite a career during his life starting in his younger years on the ice cream truck delivering ice cream from Halifax straight through to Yarmouth. He also worked for Canadian Tire, Liverpool, Milford’s Garage and had a career that stretched 35 years with Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited, Brooklyn, N.S. where Robert worked as a paper maker. Robert was a member of the Prince of Wales #29 A.F.& A.M., Milton. Robert had a passion for the woods which led to his love of hunting and carpentry. Robert will always be known for his story telling and both love of family and friends.

 Robert is survived by his son Ashley of Milton; grandchildren Robert (April) Legge of Liverpool, Patriza (Hayward) Adams of West LaHave; great grandchildren Aydan, Ashley, Ander, Georgia and Sylvan.

 Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife Sylvia.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. There will be a private graveside service held at a later date. No flowers by request. Donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice. Online condolences may be made below.
