H. Georgina Rawding

RAWDING – H. Georgina, 95, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 with her family by her side.
Born in Summerville Centre, Queens County, Georgina was a daughter of the late Cecil and Laura (Woodsworth) Wagner.
Georgina was a retired hairdresser who enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, boating and traveling with her husband, Herman, throughout North America and Europe. She was also a former UCW member with Zion United Church, Liverpool. Georgina was a ray of light for all that knew her. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her husband, her family and her friends.
Georgina is survived by her husband of 73 years, Herman; her daughter Lynn (John) Curphey of South Brookfield, Dawne Rawding (Shelley Nagle) of Halifax and her son Gary (Joyce Bowers) of Pentz. Grandchildren Stephanie (Jason) Kerr, Candace Curphey (Ryan Gall) and Ragan (Steve) Callahan and eight great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Georgina was predeceased by her brothers Chester, Douglas and Eugene. Georgina was also predeceased by her best friend (chosen sister) Doris Conrad.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
