Annabelle Marie Rafuse

Rafuse, Annabelle Marie, age 88, of Liverpool, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10th, 2017, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Hazel (Croft) Veinot.

Annabelle worked at the Best Yeast Plant, Dominion, IGA and Stedman’s stores in her younger years. She was a member of West Nova Scotia Regiment South Shore Memory Club, Trinity Anglican Church, Choir and ACW. She had a great sense of humor, a warm loving heart and she will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.

She is survived by sons, Clarke (Linda), of Milton, Norman, of Liverpool; grandchildren Michael (Ruby), Brent (Janette), Evan (Lindsay), and Cassandra (Richie) Rafuse / Burgess; great grandchildren, Raven, Brandon sister Joyce MacLeod, of Liverpool; brothers, Merrill (Irene) Croft, of Dartmouth, Ted Veinot, of South Brookfield.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph; brother, Richard.

The Family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., from Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool. Reverend Cherry Workman officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Queens General Hospital Foundation or to Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
