Carolyn Elaine Penney

PENNEY – Carolyn Elaine 74, of Southwest Port Mouton, Queens County passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on March 16, 2018.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Harris and Hazel (Wolfe) Whynot.
Carolyn was a former fish packer for C.W. MacLeod’s Fisheries and a waitress at the Grub and Grog Restaurant in Sable River. She loved the outdoors and was an avid TV bingo player.
She is survived by her daughter Charlotte of Oshawa, her sons Darrel (Melissa) of Dorintosh, SK., Murray of Liverpool and Ronnie of Sydney. Six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Her sister Doris of Dartmouth.
She was predeceased by her husband David, sisters Audrey, Gayla and Alice and her brother Murray.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
