 DIXON; Patricia J., 82, of Bridgewater, NS, formerly of Liverpool, Queens County passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, NS.

 Born in Liverpool, Pat was a daughter of the late Clare and Etta (Nickerson) Wood.

 Pat worked as an L.P.N. for many years working in the I.W.K., Halifax and Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Pat had a great sense of humor and was very kind; she took care of everyone else before herself. Pat also had a special connection to her three granddaughters, Ashlyn, Lucilyn and Adalyn with whom she lived.

 Pat is survived by her daughters Michelle (Sean) Wile of Bridgewater, Debra (James) Hatt of Brooklyn; son Richard (Tara) of Lloydminster, AB. Grandchildren Ashlyn, Lucilyn and Adalyn Wile; Meaghan Hatt (Zachary Williams) and Kelsey Hatt (Devin Holdright), step-grandchildren Brookyn, Alyssa and Rory Close and great-grandchildren River and Noah Holdright. Sister Shelley (Terry) Walker of Liverpool and brothers Vincent (Linda) Wood of Hubley, Michael (Donna) Herman of Western Head, John (Debbie) Herman of Brooklyn and David (Debbie) Herman of Stony Plain, AB, as well as her beloved puppy “Guss” and grand puppy “Carl”.

 Besides her parents, Pat is predeceased by her husband Hugh and sister Joyce Turner.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S.

 At Pat’s request a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Zion Cemetery, College Street, Liverpool where she is being buried along with her husband Hugh and her precious puppies “Sam” and “Haley”. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Oncology Unit or a charity of choice. Online condolences may be made below.
