Norma Jean Doubleday

Doubleday - Norma Jean, 54, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax on Friday, November 15, 2024.

 Born in Liverpool, Norma was a daughter of Eldridge and Phyllis (Croft) Whynot of Milton.

 Norma was an honourary member of the Queens County Ground Search and Rescue Ladies Auxilliary, an avid bingo player who loved animals, especially her dog Lilly, going for drives and to the beach. Norma was a woman of character who wore her heart on her sleeve. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt, a cherished friend and a beacon of kindness to everyone who knew her.

 Norma is survived by her husband Edward; her brothers Ashley (Pam) and Jason, both of Milton, her sister in law Jennifer Whynot and her nephews Bradley and Dakota.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at the Queens County Ground Search and Rescue at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made below.
