Moffatt, Thomas Anthony “Tony”, 55, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013, at home.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of Thomas Moffatt, of Bridgewater and the late Ann (Mulhall) Moffatt.
Tony was well known as the manager of Alley Nine and the Liverpool Bowling Center for many years. He always had a smile on his face and was happiest when he was stirring the pot. Tony’s friends always kidded that he knew a little bit about everything and that if he didn’t know he would find out. He was a fan of the Vancouver Canucks Hockey team.
He is survived by his loving companion Ardith Lauder; stepson Ryan Lutz, of New Brunswick; sisters Vicki (Robert) Self, of Riverport, Leslie (Edward) Conrad, of Pleasantville; brother Tim (Deborah), of Trenton, Ontario; stepmother Barbara (Kempton) Moffatt, of Bridgewater.
A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., from Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. A reception will follow at Liverpool Bowling Center “ Alley Nine ’’. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Queens County Branch of the S.P.C.A..
