Marie Elsie Rhyno

Rhyno - Marie Elsie, 87, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

 Born in Milton, Queens County, Marie was a daughter of the late Edgar and Jenny (Foster) Whynot.

 Known simply as “Nan” to many who knew her, Marie enjoyed dancing, country music, was an avid bingo player and going for drives.

 Marie is survived by her daughter Rosalie “Rose” Roy (Faron Uhlman) of Bridgewater and her son Robert Jr. (Janet) Roy of Liverpool. Her grandchildren David (Carolee) Roy, Tanya Roy (Jamie Rhyno), Anne Vaughn (Carl Belong) and Billy (Lucy) Roy. Her great grandchildren Ethan Francis, Kristen and Skye Roy, Dylan and Brandan Roy, Lucas Belong and Morgan Roy. Her brothers Clyde Whynot of Liverpool and Orris (Carol Anne) Whynot of Milton.

 Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her first husband Robert Wm. Roy Sr., her second husband Royce Rhyno, her son Jeffery Roy and her brother Albert Whynot Sr.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to any charity. Online condolences may be made below.
