MACNUTT – Jeanette Louise, 75, of West Caledonia, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool with family by her side holding her hand.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late William Everett and Emmaline (Roy) Schrader.
Jeanette worked for the former Radio Café (Wongs) for a number of years and also in a bakery. She enjoyed working at the Hibernia Canteen. She was a passionate bingo player, loved penny auctions and enjoyed watching soap operas. Her family meant everything to Jeanette. She enjoyed family gatherings especially at Christmas when everyone was together and never wanted to be alone.
She is survived by her daughters Kim MacNutt (Dwane Lawson) at home; Shirley (Chris) Whynot of Harmony; Arlene MacNutt (Chester Wamboldt) of Brooklyn; Wendy MacNutt (Greg Weare) of Westfield; Barbara (Herbert) Mansfield of Westfield; Annette Waterman (Brian Weare) of West Caledonia. Her sons Edward (Jessica Mansfield) of West Caledonia, Scott (Heather) of West Caledonia, Glen (Wanda) of Bridgewater, Dwayne (Karen Whynot) of Liverpool, Kevin (Connie) of West Caledonia, Terry (Davonna Crooker) at home. 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Sisters Pauline (Tim) Conway of Liverpool, Charlotte (Harvey) Hallett of Lockeport, Lavina Young (Charlie Varner) of Pleasant River, Diane (Doug) Whynot of Liverpool, Cathy (Gerald) Balcom of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Brothers Kenneth (Valerie) of Mersey Point, Burton (Marie) of Upper LaHave, Borden (Jean) of Wileville.
She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Eugene, an infant son Christopher, an infant grandson Colby James and her brothers Johnny and Joseph.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Caledonia United Church. Reverend Carol Smith officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Caledonia.
