MACKENZIE – Kimberley A., 58, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Born in Yarmouth, Kim was the daughter of Eileen (Godwin) and the late Richard Veinot.
Kim found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She was committed to her family and was so proud of her grandchildren. She took pride in her home and beautiful gardens, enjoyed visits from friends, cross-stitching, watching basketball, all the while enjoying a glass of fine wine. Kim enjoyed and was very dedicated to her work. Most of all, Kim was so proud of the life she built with her devoted husband, Irvin.
Kim is survived by her husband of 36 years, Irvin, two daughters Kaylee (Jason) Belliveau of Middle Sackville and Kelsey (Gordon) MacNutt of Middlewood, three grandchildren Caden Belliveau, Carson & Mackenzie MacNutt, mother Eileen Veinot of Brooklyn, and brother Shawn (Missy) Veinot of Kentville.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Service Ltd., Liverpool. A private service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request; donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the IWK Hospital. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
