Eleanor Kathryn Mack

MACK – Eleanor K., 96, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Born in Truro, Eleanor was a daughter of the late George and Annie (Mader) Mack.
In her early years, Eleanor worked at the former Best Yeast Plant in Brooklyn before enrolling in Nursing. She became a registered nurse and worked at the Toronto General Hospital her entire nursing career. Eleanor travelled extensively and was a member of the Gardening Club, the Liverpool Rug Hookers as well as the Library Book Club. Eleanor was notably independent, impressively positive, always gracious and quietly wise. She was brimming with love for all her family and flush with joy and laughter.
Eleanor is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her sisters Louise Wessman, Anne Mack, Marion Webber and her brother George.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Mill Village Community Cemetery.
