With sorrow and great sadness, the family of Sheila J. MacIntosh (nee Boutilier) announces the passing of their beloved, mother and grandmother on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the age of 84.
Born on April 5, 1932, in Mushaboom, Nova Scotia she was the youngest daughter of Gordon and Della (Dillman) Boutilier.
Her children will remember her for her quiet expressions of love, her loving smile and never missing a birthday. She will always be remembered by her family. She is now free to be with Dennis who passed away in 1990.
Sheila is survived by her son Wade of Mill Village, Nova Scotia and her daughter Pamela (Donald) MacAulay of Cornwall, PEI; her grandchildren Brechan (Jennifer) MacAulay and Jehnna (Zack) Jacob; great grandsons Samuel Jacob and Emmett MacAulay; brothers Wilfred (Hazel), Alton, Felix (Eva), Foster Boutilier; sisters Helen (Anthony) Gillis, Joyce Baker; sisters-in-law Eva, Alice, Rosemary, Patricia and Sheila Boutilier. Besides her husband Dennis, Sheila was also predeceased by her brothers Oliver, Douglas, Kenneth (Harvey), James (Howard), Alvin, Paul and Brian; sisters Eldora Logan, Jessie Boutilier, Esther Boutilier and Ada Boutilier.
Funeral service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Chandler’s Funeral Chapel, Liverpool, N.S. with Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Queens Manor Home for Special Care or the Alzheimer Society. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com. The tender care provided to Sheila during her stay at Queens Manor will never be forgotten.
