LYLE – Barbara E., 87, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
Born in Port Mouton, she was a daughter of the late William and Inez “Pearl” (Maxwell) Fisher.
Barbara worked for the former Seamone’s Bakery, Liverpool, Tuna Inn, Hunt’s Point, White Point Beach Lodge, Transcotia Motel in Brooklyn and sold Avon. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Mersey Branch #38, Royal Canadian Legion, Liverpool.
She is survived by her daughters Marsha Whynot of Milton, Brenda Lyle (James Parnell) of Liverpool, sons Donald of LaHave Manor, Gregory of Brooklyn, grand daughter Amy Whynot, sister Alice (Beryle) Burgess of Port Mouton.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl “Raymond”, her granddaughter Kelly Lynn Whynot, half sister Vivian May, brothers Kenneth and Billy and half brothers Ronald Smith, Laurie Smith and Bruce Smith.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 7 until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Lay Minister Peter Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn.
