Lewis - Lorraine “Luke” Ralph, age, 88 of South Brookfield, NS, passed away suddenly on April, 12, 2025 at home.
Born in Monteagle, New Brunswick, Luke was a son of the late George and Ada (Smith) Lewis.
Luke worked as a truck driver in his younger years transitioning to body work and working his way to body shop foreman right up to his retirement from Fairway Chev. Olds. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon; daughters, Lynn Murray of Caledonia, Angela (Mitchell) Smith, of Chelsea; stepdaughters, Alison Rawding (Jimmy Mosher) of Pleasant River, Sharon (Tim) MacQuarrie, of Chester Grant, Queena (Ken) Smith, Erin (Jason) Mansfield, Davonna Crooker, all of South Brookfield; son, Grant (Pam), of Port Williams; grandchildren, Tracy, Scott, Ellen, Dereck, Holly, Shelby, Allison, Jessica, Wade, Stephen, David, Kyle, Connor, Mason, Avery, Taegen, Kale and Deacon; great grandchildren, Jacob, Ashton, Alleah, Arizona, Madeline, Evelin, Kendrick, Lachlan and Sylas; sisters, Fern (Alex) Bungay, of Dartmouth, Faye (Kevin) Deagle of Boutiliers Point; bother, Garnet, of Dartmouth.
Besides his parents, Luke was predeceased by his first wife Cora Frail; son Danny; brothers Conway, Cameron, Stewart, Wayne and Wendell.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. At Luke’s request, there will be no funeral service at this time. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the North Queens Fire Department or a charity of choice. Online condolences may be made below.
