Lewis Wayne Cole

           COLE, Lewis Wayne, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, surrounded by his family.

           Family was everything to him. Wayne was an outstanding husband of 58 years to Jean. Most amazing Dad to Cheryl (Michael), Mark (Crystal), Mike (Angela) and Heather (Todd). His pride and joy was being Grampy to Bhreaugh (Matt), Adam, Catherine, Emily, Avery, Clara, Brooklynn, Rowan and Cole. Wayne was a special brother to Kelly, Valerie, Gerald and Don. Wayne was a favorite uncle, cousin, boss and friend to many. 

 Wayne was extraordinarily warm-hearted, fun-loving and provided sound advice and kindness! Known as “ the easy dealing dealer”, he was proud to be a Ford dealer for 40 + years. He enjoyed contributing to countless organizations, minor sports and community events. Wayne will be remembered for the way he made people feel included, his kindness, advice, love of animals, his humour and impeccable integrity. Those who had the pleasure to be around Wayne felt his large love of life. 

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S. At Wayne’s request there will be no funeral service. Thank you to the care givers, Doctors and nursing staff at Queens General. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Queens General Hospital Foundation.
