Marie Isabelle Legge

Legge, Marie Isabelle, 102, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2015, in Queens Manor, Liverpool.

Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late Alan and Ada (Robar) Murley.

Marie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Known as a hard worker, Marie was a caretaker in Dartmouth for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening up until her early 90’s. She was a very spiritual person and was an active member in her church. Above all else, she will be fondly remembered as being very passionate about her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ennos; sons, John, Lloyd; grandson, Brian; sisters, Golden, Mabel, Blanche, Ruth, Ada, Joyce, Dorothy; brothers, Victor, Thomas, John, and Ronald.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be held in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Nineveh. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Queens Manor, Liverpool.
