Yvonne Catherine Ingram

INGRAM – Yvonne Catherine, 57, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the VG Site, QE II Health Science Centre, Halifax.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Alice (Palmer) Oickle.
Yvonne worked at the Liverpool Superstore where she loved to meet people. She loved her garden and planted sunflowers for her beloved blue jays. She enjoyed putting together puzzles and baking sweets for her family and friends and spending time with them. She was a fan of Coronation Street and always entered items in the Queens County Fair. She also enjoyed driving the backhoe when it was time to put wood in. In her younger years, Yvonne played broomball, softball and volleyball. Yvonne will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother who was very proud of her children’s’ accomplishments.
She is survived by her husband Philip, daughter Katie of Halifax, son James of Halifax, sisters Geraldine (David) Whynot of Brooklyn, Jean (Robert) Huskins of Liverpool, Janet (James) Dagley of Bridgewater, brother Barry (Linda) of Bridgewater.
Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2015 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool.
