Alberta “Gloria” Hutchison

Hutchison {Tonello) Alberta Gloria, age 89 of Hunts Point, formerly of Liverpool, passed away peacefully February 2, 2022 at Queens General Hospital.
Born in Liverpool she was the youngest child of the late Yolanda (Tomadini) and Santo Tonello.
Gloria and her sister, Sue, founded Jagman of Nova Scotia, a successful Icelandic wool knitting company.
She is survived by her sons Duncan of Liverpool and Scott (Dawn) of Greenfield, her sister Sue Norman, Liverpool, along with several cousins, nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband James (Jim) and her brother Ledo.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Gloria’s request there will not be a formal service. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a thank you to the wonderful home care workers that allowed Gloria to remain in her home, allowing her to live out her days looking at the ocean.
