Nancy Darlene Howard

Howard – Nancy D., 53, of Whynott’s Settlement, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Fern (Drake) Howard.
Nancy worked as an administrative assistant with the Lunenburg Regional Recycling Department for over 13 years. She was a movie buff, having a collection of over 500 titles. She loved to garden and paint and loved animals. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family especially her granddaughter Gemma Nancy, her namesake, and will be fondly remembered for her attitude and stubbornness.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Ashley Grant (Ryan Sarty) of Whynott’s Settlement, her granddaughter Gemma Nancy and her grandson Ayden, and her brothers Thomas (Patty) of Brooklyn and Peter (Wanda Himmelman) of Liverpool.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool.
