Helen Cecelia Harrington

Harrington - Helen C., 76, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Born in Liverpool, Helen was a daughter of the late Cecil and Irene (Wamboldt) Roy.

Helen is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Cory) Whynot and grandson Johnathan Himmelman. Her brother Sandy (Carol); nieces Autumn and Teresa (Jeff), great niece Katie and nephews Shaun, Brandon and Cody.

Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her sister Mary Stewart.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Helen’s request, there will be no funeral service. Donations may be made to the S.P.C.A. Online condolences may be made below.

“I have had a great life. I have loved and been loved. I have wonderful, caring friends and I have been blessed. God is good. I am not afraid to leave this world, and, as I enter a new realm, I pray that I will be with my Lord. I am at peace.”
