Luella May Hawkes

Hawkes, Luella May, 80, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away on Sunday, October 21st, 2012, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

 Born in West Caledonia, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Jennie (Smith) Judge.

 Luella was a member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, West Caledonia. She was a very outgoing, funloving person and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. She loved to sew, play cards and bingo.

 She is survived by a son Richard (Gloria), of Northfield; grandchildren Nicole, Ivan, both of Northfield; sisters Joan Trimm, of Digby, Kathleen Zong, of South Brookfield; brothers Maurice, of Harmony, Jack, of Saulnierville.

 She was predeceased by her husband Herman; sister June; brother Leland and three siblings in infancy.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, October 25th, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., from St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, West Caledonia. Father Keith Billard officiating. Family flowers only.
