HATT – WADE B., age 77, of Danesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, N.S.

Born in Bridgewater, Wade was a son of the late Clyde and Josephine (Ward) Hatt.

Wade was owner/operator of the former Italy Cross Irving Station as well as a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as watching old time country music videos with his neighbor every Friday night.

Wade is survived by his daughter, Shelly Hatt (Mark Whynot) of Port Mouton; son Jamie (Amanda) of White Point; grandchildren Makala Whynot, Destiny Hatt and “step grandson” Tyler Whynot; sisters Joyce Lohnes of Hebbville; Judy (Fred) Dalby of Middlewood and Evelyn Snyder of Fancy Lake; brothers Ronald (Bonnie) of Danesville; David (Jane) of Hebbs Cross; Harold (Deanna) of Danesville and Kenny (Donna) of Liverpool.

Besides his parents, Wade was predeceased by his wife Linda (Whynot), sister Betty Hatt and brother Owen.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Visitation will be Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool with Reverend Dana Pardy officiating. Interment to take place in Mill Village Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations may be made to V.O.N. or Palliative Care Queens County.
