Glenn Preston Selig

SELIG - Glenn P. “Pops”, 71, of Chelsea, Lunenburg County, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

 Born in Caledonia, Glenn was a son of the late Gerald and Adelaide (Mansfield) Selig.

 Glenn spent his life working in construction as a blaster. He prided himself on being both familiar and able to operate all the equipment. Glenn enjoyed doing house renovations with both his children and was known as the “go to guy”. If Glenn couldn’t fix it or explain to you how to fix it, then it didn’t need to be fixed. He enjoyed side by siding with his wife and family. Family meant everything to Glenn and he enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren of who he was very proud.

 Glenn is survived by his wife Cathy; daughter Shana of New Germany; son David ( Tobie Keans) of Buckfield; Grandchildren Ryley, Austin (Brooke) and Kayla; sister Vicky Burke of Westfield; brothers Ricky of Westfield and Terry (Ann) of Middlefield.

 Besides his parents, Glenn was predeceased by sisters Enid St. Louis and Ann Dolliver, brother Jeff and a brother in infancy.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS.

Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield. Pastor Royce Getson officiating.
