Frellick, Basil Murray age 92, originally from Mersey Point, Queens County Nova Scotia passed away on November 1, 2021 at Weston Terrace Nursing Home, Toronto. Basil was the son of the late William Howard Frellick and Edith Frellick (Doggett).
Basil left Nova Scotia in his 20s for Toronto, married Gladys South and began his career in the electrical trade. He was proud to have two of his nephews from Nova Scotia, Dennis and David White apprentice with him in Toronto.
Basil survived all of his siblings: Earl, Annie, Wilbert, Douglas, Marjorie, Maurice and Margaret.
Basil is survived by four children: Stephen, Linda, Howard and Carol. He also is survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Basil loved the electrical trade and treasured his time away from work to take frequent trips back to Nova Scotia to visit family.His nephew Bobby and wife Norma were among his favourite people to visit with while there. He liked boating, hunting and playing cards with his euchre buddies. He also loved fishing in his much loved fishing boat. He was a happy man who lived life just as he wanted to.
Cremation has taken place and a virtual memorial service including Basil will be available online at www.mountpleasantgroup.com after December 8,
2021 at 7 PM.
