Trudy Ellen Freeman

FREEMAN – Trudy E., 63, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital on Sunday, April 1, 2018.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Harris and Marie (Broughm) Verge.
Trudy will be remembered as a hard worker and one who loved the ocean. She enjoyed making crafts with sea glass and shells. She was a housekeeper and prep cook for Quarter Deck for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but, especially, with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Trudy is survived by her daughter Lori Carrier of Edmonton; her sons John (Tracy) Carrier of Greenfield and Anthony (Christie) Carrier of Port Mouton. Her grandchildren Meagan LeBlanc, Gurlie and Maynard Niclassen, Emma, Teagan and Emilee Carrier and Shai-Lynn Moores. Her great grandchildren Chloe Dexter, Christopher LeBlanc, Sophus and Emilia Niclassen. Her sister Edytha (Keith) Freeman of Dartmouth and her brother Thomas (Cora) Verge of Port Mouton and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Richard
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool. At Trudy’s request, there will be no funeral service. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
