Frank Palmer Adams – Beach Meadows

Frank passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 2nd, 2025, in the SSRH surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Montreal, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Brazier) Adams.

Frank left Montreal at an early age to settle in Toronto where he remained for many years until moving to Queens County, NS in 2015. Over his working years, Frank owned a printing business, was involved in property management and owned a hobby farm in Sunderland, Ontario. After his move from Ontario, Frank became a member of the Liverpool Kinsmen and the Coastal Cruisers Car Club of Bridgewater. He enjoyed going for drives, especially near the water, and being around antique cars. Frank was a regular attendee at the Mersey Point Coffee Group where he met many people who became good friends. Being a real animal lover, there were many cats, dogs, and horses over the years, especially his cat, Pancho. When he moved here, Frank was known as the man with the yellow jeep.

Frank is survived by his wife Cathy de Rome, son Jeff (Anita) and grandchildren Ella and Pete of Toronto, son Tim (Miranza) and granddaughter Violet of Vancouver, and daughter Laura of Toronto. His sister Margaret (Dave Allen), Toronto, nieces Cathy and Janet Allen and cousin Dan (Barb) MacLaren of Liverpool.

Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his first wife, Dawn Gerrard.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Internment will take place in Toronto at a later date. Online condolences may be made below.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the SSRH who took such good care of Frank and his family during this difficult time.
